They shouldn’t be this good, really they shouldn’t. Some 35 years after their formation, 31 years since their initial split and 4 years into their rebirth Sydney’s Sunnyboys return with their 2nd official live album Best Seat In The House – and it’s great.

Recorded at the Enmore Theatre, Sydney on March 2015 Best Seat… sees the band in blistering form playing with as much energy and vitality as the band that inspired such a fanatical following all those years ago. Tracks include live favourites Tunnel Of Love, I’m Shakin’ and The Seeker plus the hits Happy Man, Show Me Some Discipline, You Need A Friend, Alone With You and more. It’s a perfect testament to band that was, and still are, truly in their element when playing live.

Sunnyboys Live DVD – Dig It Up! Live at The Enmore Theatre 22.04.12

On April 22nd 2012, for the first time in 21 years, all four original members of Sydney band Sunnyboys, walked on-stage at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre and performed as guests of the Hoodoo Gurus on their Dig it Up! Invitational. This is the DVD from that performance!

From the opening chords of little known track As I Walk to the closing notes of the band’s biggest hit, Alone WIth You, it was as if time stood still. Appearing under the pseudonym Kids in Dust the band played with the same intensity, verve and joy as they had all those years ago. It was emotional and inspired and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.

For a dude who was too young to see Sunnyboys first time around, their set yesterday made my day.
